About

Weighing specialists, not a parts counter.

Apex Scale sells weighing equipment and then stands behind the number it produces. The people who install it are the people who calibrate it.

Edmonton, since 2003
The company

The reading has to stand up to an audit.

Apex Scale works with operations across Western Canada where weight is money: grain going out, gravel going out, scrap coming in. In every one of those, the number on the indicator is the invoice, which means it has to be right and it has to be defensible.

That is a different business from selling scales. It means carrying certified test weights, running calibration on a schedule instead of on request, keeping certification records where they can be found at audit, and answering the phone at two in the morning when a weighbridge goes down mid-shift.

The company supplies everything from precision laboratory balances to full truck weighbridges, installs and commissions it, and keeps it inside tolerance afterward. One contact for the equipment, the calibration, and the paperwork.

Where we work

Edmonton and the Capital Region make up the weekly service routes. Longer runs across Alberta and into Saskatchewan are booked around the certification cycle so travel is shared rather than billed to one site.
